My dear nan,passed away after an 8 month battle with lung cancer on July 19th 1998 at 12.45am.A week after her 84th birthday.She lived in Canley for over 40 years after leaving Gloucester & ran Canley & Tile hill taxis for years.
She was mum to Tony who passed away on January 10th 1996 after a long battle with liver cancer.I dont think she ever got over losing her son.
She was also mum to my mum Audrey.
Nan was also mum in law to Frank & Ann & had 6 grandchildren & 16 great grand children(One of which is now reunited with her in heaven,Marcus,aged 17),7 of which were born since she passed.
She was such a funny lady,always came out with things at the wrong time,she had a good heart & would always help us in our times of need.
She loved to play Bingo at either the Gala Walsgrave or The Railwaymens club.
I think about her all the time,i know she is watching over me,i feel her around me all the time.

I wish heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice again. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part.
